Sometimes, Kim, your overall experience in a country sucks. Chile is one of those countries. With the exception of paragliding in Iquique, and watching the World Cup at each hostel, I didn’t have a lot of fun in Chile. Chile’s beaches were nothing special, the bus rides were monstrous, and my backpack was stolen at a bus station in La Serena. Getting ripped off definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
